When the Tough Times Just Keep on Coming
So, after a well needed and much deserved hiatus it is time to dive back into the story of our Canadian adventure. Some of you may remember that the last blog post ended on a cliff hanger with Lola recovering from surgery while we lost our minds with worry awaiting the pathology results of Lola’s biopsy. Reunited & it Feels so Good
For the first time since we landed in Canada we slept soundly and deeply, snuggled in a warm comfortable bed surrounded by complete darkness and utter silence, with no light pollution or sirens to disturb our slumber. These were the nights we had grown accustomed to living in the wop wops of NZ and it was not until now that we realised how much we had missed it and how much we now craved it.
